Retrata ruinas.

Represent reality, HIS reality. That was the duty that Juan Rulfo took all along his life. He is most known as a writer, with a very realistic register. But his photographs, his more than 6000 negatives, have no price. If his narrative is full of loneliness, the pictures he shows us of HIS Mexico are breath taking. With those images, he could express all those details that words couldn’t. He freezes a Mexico of oppressive atmospheres and ruled by a very severe tyranny run by the local.

His way to immortalize architecture creates surprising stages; they place his captures of ephemeral moment which are full of energy. The architecture shown in his photos represent the decadence of a country full of historical tragedies.

He immortalizes ruins.
