WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN…
A visual easy comparison of what became the symbol of modernity in France, and what wanted to become the new Communist Russian utopia symbol.
No matter how many time I had heard how tall they are/were separately, it has not been until I have seen them both at the same time that I have not realized how amazing it would have been if there had been enough steel in Russia. Not that I haven’t always loved Tatlin’s tower. It is just that I have never seen its monumental scale.
